Our History
In 1966, Jon Croy and Bill McMichael founded C&M Products after achieving success with their service company, where they would order parts and repair broken air conditioners and refrigerators.
C&M Products became CMP Corporation in 1984, and over the next decade, the company's focus shifted from selling parts to manufacturing them in-house. Because of the success they saw from this change, CMP started selling internationally in the 1990s.
In 2013, CMP acquired Southwest Compressor in Oklahoma City and began remanufacturing compressors in-house, enabling the company to offer remanufactured compressors featuring our OEM-quality compressor parts.
Now
TToday, Jon’s son Brad leads CMP as President, proudly carrying forward his father’s legacy of excellence. Under his leadership, CMP continues to provide high-quality compressors and parts to customers worldwide. With an ever-growing inventory and thousands of parts available to ship the same day, we remain committed to keeping our customers’ businesses running smoothly.
