Non-Refundable Extended Warranties:All extended warranties become non-refundable once a compressor is shipped or collected from any location.

For all compressor models that qualify for an extended warranty, the extended warranty cost will be 30% of the compressor’s price, excluding the core charge.

Cobb Innovation & Technical Academy Visits CMP Stone Mountain

At CMP, we had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional group, Cobb Innovation & Technical Academy, at our Stone Mountain facility in Georgia. This enthusiastic class of students dove into a comprehensive crash course on compressor technology and the remanufacturing industry.

Throughout the day, students engaged in hands-on learning experiences that gave them valuable insights into the processes behind CMP compressor remanufacturing. Our skilled trainer, Horace Park, guided them through the intricacies of HVAC and refrigeration systems, highlighting the importance of innovation and sustainability in our industry.

The facility tour offered students a firsthand look at our state-of-the-art operations. They witnessed the meticulous care and attention to detail that goes into producing our top-quality remanufactured compressors. Product of The Month

This month’s featured product is the 06ET Compressor with a Standard Head setup. This model is designed with the discharge port of the center head facing the pump end, a common characteristic found in most 06ET compressors meant for general use.

06E compressors will come with various components to aid with installation and maintenance.

These include:

• Two (2) Suction Cut-Off Unloader Heads
• 06ET Standard Head
• Additional Gaskets Provided For Infield Conversions

All 06ET compressors now come with POE oil for lubrication, reducing friction and wear and improving performance and longevity.

Note – POE oil is compatible with older systems, refrigerants, and oils.

POE oil can be safely mixed with mineral oil when you have a system using CFC of HCFC refrigerants. If your system uses HFC refrigerants, there must be at least 95% POE oil to prevent issues with your system/compressor.

New 06ET Head Configuration

Knowing the setup of your 06ET head is essential for the smooth operation of your compressor. The head configuration can either be a Standard Head or a Reverse Center Head. The key distinction between these configurations is the position of the center head discharge port. We will start dispatching these compressors with the standard center head components to conform with industry uniformity.

Why Make This Change?

We aim to Seek Simplicity in production by reducing the number of product variations and offering our customers more choices within a single SKU.

Providing multiple options in one SKU will simplify the ordering process

enabling our customers to quickly select what is required in the field and, if needed, order a replacement reverse center head.

Standard Head 06E

In a Standard Head 06ET configuration, the center head discharge port faces the pump end. This configuration is common in most 06ET compressors and is usually suitable for general-purpose applications.

Reverse Center Head 06E

In the Reverse Center Head 06ET configuration, the center head discharge port is on the other side of the pump end.

If needed the Reverse Center Head is available for purchase under item HD-0660.

What’s Will Be Included with The Compressor?

06ET compressors will come with various components to aid in the installation and maintenance of the compressor. These include:

All 06ET Compressors Will Come with POE Oil

All 06ET compressors will now be shipped with POE oil. This synthetic oil helps to lubricate the compressor, reducing friction and wear and enhancing its performance and longevity.

Identifying a New 06E Compressor

The differentiator for customers with current inventory is the first two digits of the serial number.  All new version units were built beginning in week 12 of 2024.  1224SE7282  

Verify the SKU’s initial four digits. If they are 1224, it indicates the most recent version of the 06E compressor. Anything prior to week 12 was likely built with a reverse center head.

Governor J. Kevin Stitt visits CMP OKC Facility

Oklahoma Governor J. Kevin Stitt visited the CMP Remanufacturing facility this week to learn about our operations firsthand.

Gov. Stitt had the opportunity to witness the remanufacturing process and was impressed by CMP’s commitment to sustainability. During the tour, Gov. Stitt was given an overview of CMP’s advanced equipment and technology, which helps ensure precision and efficiency in the remanufacturing process.

CMP’s investment in automation was also highlighted. The governor learned about CMP’s strict quality control policies, which ensure that all remanufactured parts meet or exceed OEM standards.

This process has created employment opportunities for Oklahoma residents and helped minimize waste and promote environmental conservation.

CMP President Brad Croy expressed his pride in the CMP’s Oklahoma roots and growing global recognition. He stated, “Our goal is to provide affordable, quality products to our local customers across the US.”

Governor Stitt was impressed by the skill and expertise of the CMP technicians, who could identify and correct any issues that arose during the remanufacturing process.

He thanked the workers and engineers who made this innovative project a reality.
