Turning of various materials with a maximum diameter of
27.55" (700mm) and a maximum of 68" (1727mm) of turning length.
Capacity for high production simultaneous 4-Axis precision
machining of parts ranging up to 31.5" (800mm) in diameter
and a height of 28" (711mm) with a maximum table load
capacity of 1760 lbs.
Twin head cylindrical and offset pin grinding on typical
automotive type crankshafts with a maximum diameter of
2.756" (70mm) and a maximum throw offset of 2.559" (65mm).
Machine is also equipped with automatic Marposs Sizing
System for sizing accuracy finishes off the grinder of 16Ra,
but can polish to 8Ra depending upon application.
Maximum grind diameter of 26" (660.4mm) with a maximum
distance between centers of 40" (1,016mm).
Surface grinding with maximum surface area up to 38" (965mm)
in length and height of 12" (305mm) and achievable surface
finishes of up to an 8Ra.
Internal grinding of diameters ranging from .25" (6.35mm) up
to maximum of 6" I.D. X 5" length (152mm X 127mm) and maximum
outside diameter of work piece of 8" (203mm) with achievable
surface finishes up to 5Ra.
Centerless grinding with maximum diameters ranging from
.437" (11.1mm) up to 3.75" (95.25mm) with a maximum length
of 8" and achievable finishes of 8Ra.
CMP can remove stock and finish virtually any
solid material to your required specifications
with maximum part diameters of 12" (305mm) with
achievable surface finish and flatness within 2 lightbands.
Tapered angles with complex or simple shapes and
geometries are accurately achieved with either
internal cavities or along outside edges with a
possible 16Ra finish. A minimum of .010" (.254mm)
wall thickness over a 5" (127mm) span is possible.
Maximum material thickness is 12" (305mm) with the
workable cutting area of 20" X 14-1/2" (508mm X 368mm),
the tank size is 24" X 18" (609mm X 457mm).
Honing capacities of 1/16" (1.587mm) to 6-1/2" (165mm)
diameters with maximum stroke length of 6" (152.4mm)
and a maximum of 16" (406.4mm) of honing length.

Whether for prototyping or production runs, a
6-Axis CNC Screw Machine allows us to be more
competitive on sophisticated part types. With a
gang tool post to accommodate turning tools and
live tooling, most jobs are completed with one
set-up. Maximum stock diameter of .625" (15.87mm)
and travel of up to 4" (101.6mm) are allowed. Fitted
with a bar feeder to make this an optimal machine for
small size, high volume parts.
